We currently have two roles available in our Covent Garden store - Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. The roles work as follows...




Store Manager Role:

The Retail Store Manager will be a highly organized, dynamic member of the team who will take on the responsibility of managing the Glassworks retail store on a day-to-day basis. You will report into the CEO, leading an Assistant Store Manager and team of sales assistants to deliver the highest levels of customer service through actively motivating employees to communicate the brand, go above and beyond to impress customers and ensure that the store and products are impeccably presented. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Staff management
• Train, manage and motivate an Assistant Store Manager and team of sales assistants on best-in-class customer service, Glassworks brand messaging, designer/product information and shop/order fulfilment procedures
• Ensure that all staff communications are in keeping with brand values and resonate a friendly, helpful tone
• Produce a monthly staff schedule and ensure that all shifts are covered with well-trained staff
• Deliver sales goals and manage bonus incentives
• Ensure staff are punctual and properly represent the brand
• In-store
• Ensure store remains neat and organized at all times; hangers are properly spaced; delicate items are properly secured and protected; stock is organized by brand; all products are perfectly steamed, zipped, buttoned, free of fingerprints and dust as applicable
• Ensure all stock sold is immediately replenished
• Support the marketing team by helping with visual merchandising, in-store customer activity/events and customer experience surveys
• Stock room management
• Receive deliveries, check all items for quality control, GRN correct deliveries, flag any issues to the buying department
• Create stock take procedures and manage monthly stock takes
• Ensure stock room remains neat and organized by brand and style at all times
• Order fulfilment
• Monitor online orders to be dispatched from the store and pick and package new orders
• Ensure accuracy in the orders dispatched and ensure packaging is to brand guidelines
• Manage daily dispatches
• Monitor packaging levels and ensure packaging materials are always in stock
• Ensure packaging area remains neat and organized at all times


JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Previous people management skills in retail is essential, preferably women’s fashion
• You must be an honest, hard-working self-starter with great organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
• A natural ability and strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service
• Discreet, professional, well spoken, with excellent communication skills
• Pro-active and eager to exceed sales targets

SALARY
£20k with generous employee discount and bonus incentives.




Assistant Store Manager Role:

RESPONSIBILITIES
