Health Club Manager / Membership Sales Manager Principle responsibilities:
* Sales and Production
Be responsible for the generation of membership sales, plan and run impact promotions in and around the club. Be able to carry out the function personally and train other staff to carry out the role.
Be responsible for the management of the facility on a day to day basis, make medium to long term plans, to develop, implement and monitor normal and emergency operating procedures for the operation of the facility; o In particular Health and Safety Cleanliness and maintenance Personnel affairs (with head office support) Customer care Management of the PTs schedules
* Communication, maintain an open line of communication with head office
Compile regular reports including weekly and monthly reports - Prepare forecasts and plans for the clubs performance - Keep and check daily operational and procedural records.
Introduce and monitor retention strategies & interventions Training. Deliver training to staff on site as required and to develop new training courses as required.
* Recognise opportunities for new business in area. Assist installing / uninstalling fitness suite equipment
Health Club Manager / Membership Sales Manager Required Skills:
* Health & Fitness management experience
* People management skills
* Health and Safety knowledge
* Be prepared to work shifts covering the operational hours of the club
* Ability to drive sales
* Provide a first class customer care service
To be considered for the Manager post you will have at least 2-years operational gym management experience within the health and fitness industry with exposure to fitness and sales. You will be the type of manager who enjoys leading from the front and engaging with members, not a back office manager so an outgoing disposition and a passion for health and fitness is essential.You must be minimum REPS level 2 qualified to apply for this post.
